  • IN LOVING MEMORY OF DENNIS H. MEYER
As many of you know, but for those of you that don't, this announcement is for you. On July 31, 2009 my sons, Jared, Joel and Jesse and I lost our loving husband and father (Denny) at the young age of 56 due to a sudden heart attack. Although we are very grief stricken, it is comforting to know that we now have our very special angel in heaven looking down upon us and guiding us until we meet again in heaven. Denny was a very fun-loving and special guy, living each day to the fullest. He strived to be the best that he could be in everything that he did and tried to instill that into our three sons as well. He was a very spiritual man and was a strong believer in the power of prayer and positive thinking which was evident by the notes he had posted throughout the house listing his goals as well as a list of all of the blessings he was thankful for to the Lord. Every so often, he would update these lists. The way he best expressed himself was by putting things down in writing and he often did this by writing letters of encouragement to the boys and me. One of his favorite scripture readings he recited often in prayer was from Philippians 4:13 - "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." We will all miss him forever, and will forever hold his spirit in our hearts.
